Callie Rodgers
My name is Callie Rodgers and I am 16 years old and I am a junior at DCHS. I have been on the stage since I was 8 years old. This is my 6th show with Encore and my 15th show in all. Some of my favorite roles were Chip in Beauty and the Beast and Luisa in The Sound of Music. I am so honored to have the opportunity to portray Anne Shirley in this wonderful production of this classic story. I am blessed to be able to share the stage with 3 generations of my family.

Katie Albers
Katie has always loved stories: reading, writing, and performing stories. Though this is her first time on stage in 25 years, she has honed her dramatic skills through being a mom of four and a school librarian. She wants to thank her husband, children, and entire family for their encouragement.

Tan Mayhall
Tan Mayhall (Matthew Cuthbert) is thrilled to be playing a nice guy, after a lot of roles as villains, murderers, thieves, misers, and even a vampire! Tan's tenure with Owensboro musical productions dates back to 2008, when he had the only non-singing role in the musical "The King and I." He has since hounded and cajoled the directors into allowing him to sing a little in more recent productions, but he is still amazed and humbled to be allowed to participate.

Samuel Moore
My name is Samuel Kent Moore. I am 14 years old and a freshman at DCHS. I attend First Baptist Church and enjoy guitar, bluegrass music, jam sessions with my friends, fishing, and just being with my friends no matter what we are doing.

Lanie Frazier
Lanie Frazier is thrilled to be playing the role of Diana in Anne of Green Gables. She is a senior at Daviess County High School and has performed in their musicals throughout high school. Lanie has also participated in AllState choir and Kentucky Youth Chorale in the past and can’t wait to showcase her abilities and bring this beautiful story to life.

Rebecca Smith
Like Anne, adopted by her Avonlea family, I've been adopted in by the Owensboro Encore Musical Family. Since 2022, I've have participated in The Sound of Music, Nunsense and now, Anne of Green Gables, The Musical. Thank you, Ronda Rodgers and Candy Miller for giving me this marvelous opportunity to bring Rachel Lynde to life! My husband and I have enjoyed becoming a part of the incredibly kind and creative Owensboro Community!

Mariam Abaskharoun
Hi! My name is Mariam Abaskharoun and I’m 15 years old. I started doing musical theater last year but have always been doing music. I have a younger brother and I’m a sophomore at Daviess County High School. I can’t wait to do more musicals with Encore Musicals of Owensboro, and this show was a blast to block.

Karen Feldhaus
Karen Feldhaus has 40+ years stage experience. She's led the DCHS theatre program for 30 years and is enjoying being part of Owensboro’s various community theatre companies. Performing with her daughter, Hope, is a highlight. Shout out to husband Andy and son Drew who have had the house to themselves while we rehearse.

Lore North
A veteran of the Encore stage, Lore enjoys comedic roles and the joy of knowing you laughed - a lot! Some of her favorite roles include Lola (Damn Yankees), June Sanders (Smoke on the Mountain), Morticia Addams (The Addams Family) and Sister Julia (Nunsense).

Mandy Miller
This is Mandy’s 3rd Encore production. She loves to sing, dance, and act - and being in shows such as these allowing her to do all 3! This and all of the friendships that have formed through these productions are what keep bringing Mandy back each year.

Janet Corum
This is Janet’s 6th musical with Encore. Music and art have been her passions since she was a child. A native of Paducah and a retired English and history teacher, she has loved living in Owensboro now for four and a half years. She is grateful to have made many friends through Encore Musicals of Owensboro.

Elizabeth Stroebel
I have been acting in local theater since I was 5 years old. For three years now I have taught for Feather Landing Cottage School, a hybrid school to assist homeschooling families. My hobbies include hiking, homesteading, herbalism, singing in the church choir and acting in local theater! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity of participating in wonderful musicals through Encore!

Katie Beth Osborne
Katie Beth Osborne a Senior in high school and the oldest of 7 Osborne siblings (two of whom are also cast members!). When she isn’t acting, she can be found crocheting, baking, reading a book, or participating in 4H livestock clubs.

David Roberson
David had been doing theatre in Owensboro for many years whether it be onstage, backstage or directing. He is a Encore Board Member and has been so since the group started. He was a church music director but for the past couple of years he has been enjoying retirement and is ready for another trip. He hopes you enjoy this heartwarming story!

Michael Bristow
Thrilled to be performing in my 4th Encore production. Quickly discovering my love for storytelling and connecting with audiences as well as spending evenings laughing with wonderful casts. This particular performance showcases specific talents I’ve yet to embrace on stage and I’m excited to see what I’m capable of.

Emma is a recent graduate from Western Kentucky University. When she is not performing on stage, Emma is an Interior Designer! She has been performing since she was in elementary school and is excited to be on stage again with Encore!

Amy Rodgers
Amy Rodgers, Mrs. Ivy Blewett, is excited to step out from behind the scenes and onto the stage for this production of Anne of Green Gables. Though she typically prefers working in unseen roles behind the scenes, she is thrilled to join the cast this time around. Sharing the experience with her mom as the director as well as her dad and two of her daughters along side her in the cast makes this production especially meaningful. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring Mrs. Blewett to life and to be part of such a special family project.

Lance Albers
Lance has been doing musical theater for 2 years now. He was the understudy for Sam in the production of Mama Mia by DCHS and was the character of Ben in Secret garden also by DCHS.

Tony Rodgers
Tony has enjoyed the opportunity to join this cast as Minister Allan! He was a late addition but has had a great time working on this unique show. Tony served as a minister for 22 years and now runs his own business - RV Ready - helping people who need camper repairs. He's played many fun roles on stage, with a couple favorites being the Park Keeper in BAM's Mary Poppins, and Daddy Murphy in Encore's Bright Star. He hopes you enjoy your time in Avonlea as much as he has!

Henry Holmes
Henry Holmes is excited to be a part of his third Encore! performance as Charlie Sloane. Henry is a sophomore at Daviess County High School. Some of Henry's favorite past roles include Frederick in "The Sound of Music" (Encore) and Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka Kids" (Heritage Christian School). Thank you to Candy and Ronda for such a fun experience!

Mallory Albers
Mallory is 14 years old and attends Daviess County High School. Her favorite things to do are read and collect books. She is in choir at school and sings in a church band as well. This is her first production with Encore.

Piper Redfern
This is my first show for Encore, and it has been so fun! I have done many shows in the past and i’ve been doing musicals since I was 8. Last year, I was in my schools production of Aladdin (I played the Genie), and that was my favorite production I’ve done so far. I am so excited for this performance, and I hope everyone enjoys!

Miranda Bolin
Miranda is excited to be in her second Encore Musical (The Sound of Music, 2023). As a Fifth Grader from Newton Parrish, Miranda loves to sing in the choir and act in community theatre. Miranda has been in various community productions and looks forward to continue acting!

Annalynn Rodgers
Annalynn is 9 years old and excited to be joining her ENCORE family on stage for her 4th show with them. You may remember her from her 2023 role as Marta von Trapp in Sound of Music. Annalynn has grown up in theatre and first took the stage when she was only 2 years old at TWO in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. When she’s not on stage, Annalynn enjoys playing basketball, reading, and any type of arts and crafts. She is excited to share this special stage with her sister, mom, and G-daddy, all under the direction of Nahna as their director!

Hope Feldhaus
Hope Feldhaus, a 5th grader at Deer Park Elementary, has been performing on stage since she was 4, mostly cause her mom made her. But she loves acting and singing. When not on stage she rides her bike, plays Roblox with friends and competes for the DPES speech team. She thanks her dad for making her chili, her brother for laughing at her silliness and her mom for helping her find the stage.

Blaire-Bennett Walker
Blaire-Bennett Walker (Ruby Gilles) is excited to return to the stage this fall in Anne of Green Gables! An enthusiastic eight-year-old student at Sutton Elementary, Blaire-Bennett loves bringing stories to life through performance. Her past roles include Gretl in Encore’s The Sound of Music, as well as appearances in Theater Workshop of Owensboro’s Twinderella and The Wizard of Oz. She has also performed in numerous ballet, tap, and piano recitals. Being on stage is one of her favorite things, and she’s grateful for the chance to keep learning and growing as a performer. James is in 5th grade. In his free time he shows chickens and sheep in 4H, climbs trees, and plays guitar and piano. He has 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
