Lauren Calhoun
Lauren is thrilled to be part of the 9 to 5 team! She is deeply grateful to her husband John and her children Jack, Michael, and Katie for being supportive and for putting up with a steady diet of pizza and chicken nuggets while she had a ball at rehearsal. Fun fact: this is her third show with Encore! Musicals of Owensboro. You can also see her holding down the cantor stand at St. Stephen Cathedral or hamming it up at a TWO Cabaret Night.
-
Tan Mayhall
Tan is a veteran of Encore Musicals, having appeared in The Fantastics, the Sanders Family series (in which he lassoed Lore’ North and rode Justin Miller), and Bright Star (along with Lauren Calhoun), among others. In his inaugural Owensboro musical role, Tan appeared topless in The King and I along with Leah McDivitt and Misty Miller (only Tan was topless). His first musical role was in seminary, where he starred as “Man” in a student-written work, missed a fake fall on closing night, and broke his left arm. So be careful when you wish him to “break a leg.”
-

She would love to thank her AMAZING family and friends for their constant support when she's juggling all the things! :) XOXO!

Michael Bristow
Thrilled to be performing in my 3rd Encore production. Quickly discovering my love for storytelling and connecting with audiences as well as spending evenings laughing with wonderful casts.
This particular performance showcases specific talents I’ve yet to embrace on stage and I’m excited to see what I’m capable of.

-

Alisa is thrilled to return to the Encore stage! She was last seen on the Encore stage in Godspell and Rapunzel in TWO’s “Into The Woods”. She is so excited to help bring the creative team’s vision to life and to bring joy and laughter to the audience for a couple of hours!
-
Hannah Corbett
Hannah is originally from Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where her love for musical theater began with movie musicals and community productions in the Louisville/Shepherdsville area. She took a long hiatus from theatre to focus on instrumental music in college and her career as an elementary music teacher, but couldn’t resist the chance to finally jump in to Owensboro’s amazing theatre community with a show like “9 to 5”. She's thrilled to be back on stage in her first production with Encore! Special thanks to her husband, Ryan, for his endless love and support!
-

Jaime Ford
This is my 5th or 6th Encore Musical, but my first non-summer musical. I was a choir kid growing up, but did very little theatre. My first community theater musical was Sweeney Todd with TWO, i’ve been hooked ever since. I love to sing, and enjoy the dancing as well, but that is always a challenge because I am a former athlete, yet not particularly graceful. It has been fun expanding in this area with the patience of some great choreographers, Jordawn Howard and Laura Staffeld. I adore my cast mates and love the chemistry we create in putting on these much-loved productions. I also have to thank my husband, Robert , for holding down the fort and keeping our dogs entertained when I am at rehearsals.
-
Jake Deitz
Jake was born and raised in Calhoun, Kentucky. Growing up, he found his love for music, theater and performing arts through many opportunities from band, choir and drama performances through McLean County Public Schools. This passion continued through his college years, performing in many musical theater productions at Murray State University, where he studied Music and Public Relations. After a long break from performing on stage, Jake is beyond excited to be making his Encore Musicals debut in “9 to 5: The Musical” a show that will always hold a special place in his heart. Outside of the theater stage, Jake is the Bookkeeper at Country Heights Elementary School and a Deacon and avid youth volunteer at Bellevue Baptist Church. He would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to his wife Jessica, and their son, Jeremiah, for their continued love and support of pursuing his passions!
-
Dustin Davis
Dustin Davis (Bob Enright) is thrilled to be part of his second Encore! Musicals production. Last seen in “Big Fish”, Dustin decided that he needed to pour himself “a cup of ambition” and go out for this production. Although he is more comfortable with doing shows with no singing or dancing, he had decided to challenge himself—and, by Dolly, this show is taking him up on that! Some of his favorite roles include Jesús Costazuela in “The Odd Couple (Female Version)”, Hector Macqueen (Murder on the Orient Express) and, of course, Zacky Price (Big Fish).
Thank you to my friends who welcomed me into the family—especially this cast and Production Team for believing in me. It’s been fun! Now, let’s all go out there and make Dolly proud!
-
Winston Hulsey
Winston Hulsey is a student at Owensboro Catholic High School who’s been acting since elementary school. He got his start on stage at Highland Elementary and then joined Theatre Workshop of Owensboro (TWO) in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Since then, he’s performed in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, Dear Edwina Jr., and The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet. Up next: The Wizard of Oz.
Outside of theater, Winston stays busy playing hockey and soccer. Whether he’s on the ice, the field, or the stage, he brings energy, heart, and a great sense of humor to everything he does.

Jim Wilhoyte
I was self employed for 42 yrs and retired in 2017. A founding board member of Encore Musicals, and try and build the set for them. Didn't get into theater until I was 53 and "Music Man" was my first on stage experience, then the bug bit me hard. Been doing theater ever since either singing backstage, being on stage or building sets. Thanks to my wife, girls and grandkids for putting up with me.
-
Rebecca Volk
Rebecca Volk is a member of the Encore Board of Directors and is thrilled to be in her 7th show with Encore.
